From  The Alternate Economy

 Tristan Nagler

I am getting the impression that I still have not really convinced any of you that my idea for the Alternate Economy is something that will become a reality. It is a beautiful idea, but a realistic one, maybe not. There are too many challenges. Too many wounded people. Too powerful of an elite. In the end, there are just too many mountains to scale.

I disagree. I am sorry. I live in the real world as well, and I understand how it works. Just because I want to try something new, does not make me naive.

Here is how I see the Alternate Economy developing, in the real world.

It is true that there are many wounded people on this earth. There are many people who are too greedy to be interesting in this idea. There are many people that are too angry for this idea. There are many people that are just plain too ignorant to understand this idea. I know. I have met them. But there are a few people out there who are ready for this idea. Maybe not millions, and definitely not billions. But there does exist a number of people out there that are ready to live in love.

I will find these people. That I am sure of. The Age of Aquarius is upon us. I have no doubts that on the face of this earth there are at least 250,000 people ready to live in love, who will engage in this important conversation with me. I have a funny feeling I will have found all of you somewhere around the date Dec 21st, 2012. Finding you will not be the problem. You are out there. And believe it or not, you are looking for me. Not me, maybe, but an idea like this, most definitely.

I am planning to organize a series of concerts here in my home town of Ottawa. I have a few friends that are amazing musicians that feel very strongly about this idea as well. I plan on using these concerts to raise awareness, but mostly I am looking to get some media attention. Once the Alternate Economy reaches the 1,000 member mark (not far away, I promise you!) and is actively engaging the community with concerts and press releases, I have a funny feeling the media will not ignore us for long. They will most likely jump upon this idea with their talons barred.

I imagine in their hysteria to destroy this movement they will do nothing but solidify it. They will laugh at us, and make up lies about our goals. They will even be so foolish as to invite me to interviews. They will mock me on live television, calling me a cult leader and a con artist and a maniac. And I will sit there and take their abuse. I will not argue with them. I will remind them that I am love and that I know that the Truth cannot be denied once it is found. I will smile into the camera and ignore their insults. I will simply be love, there for all to see. Many will join in with the media and laugh at me. Some of our current members will leave us. But our numbers will skyrocket. Because in their attempts to destroy us they will in fact be giving us free advertising. And the few people out there that are ready to live in love will see that what we are saying has an undeniable truth to it and they will join us in our cause. The media will be its own worst enemy in our battle to change the world.

Once we reach 250,000 members, then things will become interesting. We will announce that we are forming a bank and this is when we will start to get the real attention. This will truly be unwanted attention. If we look at history and try to see a pattern in the rising of these sorts of movements we see an unfortunate development. Whether it was Martin Luther King Jr, or Mohandis Gandhi, or Leon Trotsky, or Che Guevera it always ends the same. Every time someone tries to institute any real change the bankers step in with their violence and put an end to it rather dramatically with a bullet in someone’s forehead.

Once we reach 250,000 members and create a bank we will begin to attract a lot of unwanted attention from those who fear our success. I imagine that our businesses will come under fire in the media first. Then they will come under fire from heavy artillery. Our leaders will suffer the same fate. The elite will use their spider web of information to dig deep into our pasts. They will expose our leaders as criminals and perverts. But that will not stop us. In the end we will not really have leaders, but rather members of influence.

Every member will be involved in the proposal and voting policy. Every member will be a part owner of every resource. In the end, it will not matter if our leaders are routed out as criminals and perverts. We will live in love and we will be willing to forgive them. Plus, our leader’s woundedness cannot really affect our movement. They don’t have any power except for their influence. If their influence declines, so does their power. But the movement stays true. The movement is not a person. It is 250,000 people strong.

They can assassinate my character by creating lies about me. I know you won’t believe the lies. They can assassinate my character by exposing dirty truths from my past. I have a couple. So do you. I know in my heart that when they are exposed you will forgive me, just as I would forgive you for your dirty secrets. They can even assassinate my body. I am ready for this and I do not mind. I know deep down in my soul that this movement has little to do with me. It will continue without me. In fact, I can’t see my death doing anything but strengthening the resolve of those around me, so I gladly give my life to this cause.

So now back to reality. We have formed a bank and our first steps are to purchase a copper mine and began a new housing initiative. The bankers are on to us now though! So when we go to start our production at the new mine we find we were duped. All of the due diligence we had performed had been falsified. Someone had gotten into our files and tricked us into buying an exhausted mine. There is no copper left. We just wasted $24,000,000 and we will never see it again. In the meantime our housing initiative has received attention as well. A stealth bomber has flown by overnight and left us a present. The crater in the ground will not be suitable for building on in the future. Another $15,000,000 down the tube.

While all this is going on three or four of our leaders are battling the media and the courts with accusations of crimes from long in their past. Our credibility is down the tubes. To add icing to the cake, I am about to make a speech to rally support for our cause when an assassin knocks my bodyguard aside and puts a bullet in my forehead.

This is the reality you all see when you think of the Alternate Economy. It is the reality I see as well. I would like to propose that it is only fear that will ever actually stop the Alternate Economy. Once we reach 250,000 members and we have established a bank it really doesn’t matter how many failures we have. We will lose $24,000,000 or $240,000,000. But we will get more money. Money always comes. We will be attacked in the media and in the courts.

But only individual members will come under attack. The community as a whole is scattered across the continent and they are the ones with the true power in this system. There will be attempts on my life. I may or may not survive them. But I am just the voice. The spark to ignite a long overdue conversation. Once we reach 250,000 members, my involvement will be a bonus, but it will not be necessary. I will have completed my role in all of this. It will be your turn now. Your turn to take what I have presented to you and to turn it into a reality.

The only thing that could ever stop this movement is fear. If we fear our enemies, they will beat us. But if we truly are able to change and live in hope, then we will take every failure, be it small or large, and we will learn from it and move forward in Hope.

If we are able to truly live in love, then we will fight through our failures. Not by fighting back. But by trudging ever forwards. We will rebuild the houses. We will buy another mine. We will cut loose the real criminals that have infiltrated our leadership. And we will forgive the ones that have been dragged through the mud. We will go to lengths to protect ourselves from physical harm. But we will not be stopped by the death of one member no matter how important they may have seemed.

If we can do all of these things, then eventually, not right away, but eventually, we will see something start to change. All of a sudden our membership will begin to swell again. All of a sudden those who at first were laughing at us and calling us mad, are beginning to look at us differently. All of a sudden the pilots of the stealth bombers are having a hard time understanding why they keep bombing an enemy that never fights back. All of a sudden people start to look at us with curiosity. How are we still moving forward after so many hardships? How could we be succeeding against all odds?

All of a sudden the people that were at first attacking us are now asking us about who we are. Because we live in love and we know that love is everyone’s we will share our philosophy and way of life with everyone freely. We will forgive the pilots that bombed our houses. We will forgive the camera men that snickered at us while we were being bashed on live television. We will forgive the judges that imprisoned us.

We will forgive the assassins that murdered us. We will invite them to join us. And join us they will. Before long, the tidal wave that will sweep the consciousness of Earth will have brought nearly everyone on this planet to our cause. Maybe it will take 5 years. Maybe 10. But I really don’t see this taking much more than 20 years. The math works. It could be done in 20 years. 20 years is not that long. It means we will have to endure suffering and be the better person, but we can accomplish our goal of creating a Utopia in this lifetime. That much I am sure.

So please. Join me in the real world. Help me start down the road to success. Join me. Today! If we start today, then we will succeed that much sooner. I am realistic. I also know that the Age of Aquarius is upon us. The reality of the situation is that only fear can stop us now!

2012: NDAA, SOPA and 40,000 other oppressive laws take effect

Uploaded by on Jan 3, 2012

It’s the new year and the US government has passed 40,000 new laws to ring in 2012. One of the most controversial laws that President Obama signed is the National Defense Authorization Act. The legislation allows for the indefinite detention and torture of someone suspected of being a member of al-Qaeda, including US citizens. Many Americans are concerned that their civil liberties are deteriorating and are giving up on their own government. George Hemminger, founder of Survive and Thrive TV, gives us his take on NDAA and SOPA.

New Hampshire newspapers endorse Ron Paul

Following the fallout of Michele Bachmann from the Republican Party race, New Hampshire residents are readying to cast their votes in the state’s primary scheduled for next week.

As word of Rick Santorum’s campaign cash dries up and chances at a Granite State victory are in doubt, pundits predict that Texas Congressman Ron Paul and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney will be battling it out in New Hampshire for the title of victor during and after Saturday’s debate. As the people weigh of the state weigh the pros and cons of the candidates for the last few days before they are left to decide, however, the media in New Hampshire is already offering up their endorsements.

Paul, considered an underdog at first but has only surged leading up to the Iowa caucus, has garnered the endorsement of three key publications in the state of New Hampshire.

Current polling suggests that it will be a tough battle between Romney and Paul, with either candidate coming in as the only of the contenders able to pull support in the double-digits, percentage wise. With Santorum’s chances slimming on the East Coast away from where his Christian ideals pulled favoritism from fundamental conservatives in Iowa, Paul’s progressive take on politics coupled with a continuing surge and now the support of the media could propel him to take the lead over Romney this weekend.

The Littleton Courier, Berlin Reporter, and Coos County Democrat all announced today their endorsements for Ron Paul as the Republican Presidential candidate in the week between the Iowa and New Hampshire events.

Salmon Press, the parent company that oversees the papers, writes that Ron Paul offers a refreshing option that opposes the ideals of Romney and Barack Obama and serves as a viable contender in the race to the White House.

“Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has been in the lead for months,” say the editors, “but voters still seem desperate for an alternative — there’s always another candidate pulling stronger or almost as strong numbers in the polls. Voters have lost faith in Obama, but they are not sold on Romney to replace him.”

On the contrary, reads the papers, Congressman Ron Paul “has never voted to raise a tax and voted against all of the bailouts that have riled up Tea Partiers and Occupy Wall Streeters alike.” The papers go on to praise Paul, and note that“His prediction that the United States can no longer afford the economic cost of our overseas commitments makes many Republicans uncomfortable, possibly by the very truth of the assertion.” In his defense, however, they point out that, “For decades he has been that rare sort of politician who speaks what he believes to be the truth and doesn’t flutter in the wind of public opinion. That could not be said of Obama or Romney.

“Powerful leaders like Franklin Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan change the political landscape,” the editors conclude. “This is what Ron Paul would do for our country and why we support him.”

Paul, Romney and Santorum battled it out in the top-tier during the Iowa caucus on Tuesday, with the Pennsylvania senator taking place behind Romney by only eight votes.

North Koreans’ Fear of Freedom

From Pyramidion
Politics & Faith – Egyptology & Art

      Timeless Egypt

“Could freedom turn into a burden that makes some of us choose to relinquish it, and instead lead a life of submission?”

 Dr. Ashraf Ezzat

North Koreans cry, over the death of their leader Kim Jung Il, in front of the Statue of the Sun in Pyongyang

On watching the huge funeral procession of leader Kim Jong-Il in Pyongyang, while thousands of people who had gathered on the snow-bound streets to observe the procession could be heard wailing as the hearse passed, I suddenly realized that the real problem of North Korea lies not in its unmonitored nuclear capabilities, but rather in its people and in their ostensible fear of freedom.

Those Koreans, as they hysterically wept, were not mourning the leader Kim Jong-Il, but they were shedding real tears and expressing genuine feelings of insecurity, loneliness and vulnerability. And people with such psychological profile could well prove more dangerous than nuclear warheads, for nuclear weapons could be deactivated or dumped, but how could we rehabilitate millions who regard the pledge to die for their semi-god leader, the noblest cause they could live for.

Could freedom turn into a burden that makes some of us choose to relinquish it, and instead lead a life of submission?

The Fear of Freedom

Erich Fromm

The world renowned psychologist, sociologist and philosopher, Erich Fromm, sees right to the heart of our contradictory needs for community and for freedom like no other writer before or since. In his book ‘Fear of Freedom’, Fromm warns that the price of community is indeed high, and it is the individual who pays. Fascism and authoritarianism may seem like receding shadows for some, but are cruel realities for many.

Freedom, argues Fromm, became an important issue in the 20th century, being seen as something to be fought for and defended. However, it has not always occupied such a prominent place in people’s thinking and, as an experience, is not necessarily something that is unambiguously enjoyable.

The psychological reading into Kim Jong-Il’s funeral lament

The basic entity of the social process is the individual, his desires and fears, his passions and reason, his propensities for good and for evil. To understand the dynamics of the social process we must understand the dynamics of the psychological processes operating within the individual, just as to understand the individual we must see him in the context of culture that moulds him.

In his book” The Fear of Freedom” Fromm argues that modern man, freed from the bonds of pre-individualistic society, which simultaneously gave him security and limited him, has not gained freedom in the positive sense of the realization of his individual self; that is the expression of his intellectual, emotional and sensuous potentialities.

Freedom though it has brought him independence and rationality, has made him isolated and, thereby, anxious and powerless. This isolation is unbearable and the alternatives he is confronted with are either to escape from the burden of this freedom into new dependencies and submission, or to advance to the full realization of positive freedom which is based upon uniqueness and individuality of man. Although Fromm’s book is a diagnosis rather than a prognosis- an analysis rather than a solution- its results have a bearing on our source of action.

For, the understanding of the reasons for the totalitarian flight from freedom, as in the case of North Koreans, is a premise for any action aimed at the victory over the totalitarian forces.

The U.N. Should Accept Palestine as a Full Member State

With Jan. 10’s Slate/Intelligence Squared debate approaching, former Palestinian presidential candidate Mustafa Barghouti explains why Israel and the United States are on the wrong side of history.

Mustafa Barghouti

Dr. Mustafa Barghouthi is gentle and soft-spoken, as befits a Palestinian leader known for his commitment to nonviolence. Currently Barghouthi, a medical doctor, serves as the general secretary of the Palestinian National Initiative, a political party based in the West Bank that seeks to provide moderate Palestinians with an alternative to what many consider Fatah’s corruption and Hamas’ extremism. “Politics can drive you to wrong decisions and wrong feelings, sometimes,” he told me during our phone conversation last week. Still, he cheered the ongoing efforts toward a unified Palestinian government, which in December produced a shaky reconciliation between Hamas and the PLO. He suggests that the Arab Spring helped his cause of nonviolence by demonstrating to Islamic radicals the efficacy of peaceful protest.

Quick to invoke Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and Martin Luther King, Jr., Barghouthi locates the Palestinian struggle for statehood in a broader historical arc from oppression to liberty. He defends the power of moral ideas and even expressed sympathy for the Israeli people, whom he believes suffer in their untenable role as occupiers. Barghouthi will argue for Palestine’s admission as a member state to the United Nations in the Slate/Intelligence Squared Debate on Jan. 10, where his challenge may well be to convince his opponents that the moral framework of India or South Africa applies to the Arab-Israeli conflict—and that having the ethical high ground is enough to force a peace agreement on such an inflamed region.

Here are excerpts of our conversation.

Slate: Why is this appeal to the U.N. happening now? As opposed to, say, 1993 or five years from now?

Mustafa Barghouthi: It didn’t happen 20 years ago for a very simple reason. After the signing of the Oslo Agreements, the Palestinians were told that this would lead to the establishment of a Palestinian state by 1999. To their great surprise, so many years later, there was no progress on final status issues. And why now? Because we’ve reached a very critical turning point where if Israel continues the settlement policies the whole idea of a two-state solution will be lost. Any more waiting will simply mean the end of that solution.

Slate: Why would the two-state solution be lost?

Barghouthi: Because of the physical changes that are happening on the ground due to settlement building. With the settlements, the road segregation, and the building of that terrible wall—we call it the Apartheid Wall—there will be no contiguity of the territory that should become the Palestinian state. Palestinian communities will become nothing but clusters of Bantustans separated from each other. And this would mean the creation of an apartheid system where two different laws exist for two people living on the same land and where Palestinians are deprived of all their major human rights.

Slate: But why can’t you negotiate about the settlements with Israel directly?

Barghouthi: Because they’ve insisted on continuing the settlements. And talking to Israel while they continue the settlements is like two sides negotiating over a piece of cheese. One side, the Palestinian side, is stuck behind bars; the other side, the Israeli side, is negotiating and eating the piece of cheese at the same time. By the end there will be nothing left to negotiate about. That’s one reason. The second is that we’ve tried negotiations for 20 years. Nobody considered that Palestinians did not make every effort they could to negotiate. And we did and the outcome was that Israel has used the negotiations only as a cover for their expansionist policy, which continues to create new facts on the ground unilaterally. And eventually it will destroy the possibility of a real Palestinian state.

Slate: So is the bid for U.N. membership something the Palestinians should have pursued earlier?

Barghouthi: In my personal opinion, yes. I think maybe we should have done it five years ago. But nevertheless, it’s better late than never; This U.N. activity is helping to bring the reality on the ground here to the attention of the world. More importantly, it reestablishes the international legitimacy of Palestinian rights. International law is on our side—the International Court of Justice ruled that every Israeli settlement in the occupied territories is illegal and should be removed, that the wall itself is illegal, and that the changes made by Israel by force in East Jerusalem are illegal. The U.N. majority is on our side. It’s a very strange situation: While the majority of the peoples of the world are on the Palestinian side, Israel has held a position of total impunity to international law and opinion due to support from the United States.

Slate: The other debating team warns that U.N. recognition is merely symbolic—that it won’t change the “facts on the ground.”

Barghouthi: Well, if it is only symbolic, why are they so much against it? In my opinion they are afraid it is exposing Israel, exposing the wrong policy, and exposing the hypocrisy of countries that claim to support democracy and human rights and self-determination everywhere but grow silent or practically complicit with Israeli actions when it comes to the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Slate: How would that exposure help everyday Palestinians?

The 10 Inventions of Nikola Tesla That Changed The World

From Activist Post

‘Ere many generations pass, our machinery will be driven by a power obtainable at any point of the universe. Throughout space there is energy.
  — Nikola Tesla, 1892

Nicholas West
Activist Post

Nikola Tesla is finally beginning to attract real attention and encourage serious debate nearly 70 years after his death.  Was he for real? A crackpot? Part of an early experiment in corporate-government control?

We know that he was undoubtedly persecuted by the energy power brokers of his day — namely Thomas Edison, whom we are taught in school to revere as a genius.  He was also attacked by J.P. Morgan and other “captains of industry.” Upon Tesla’s death on January 7th, 1943, the U.S. government moved into his lab and apartment confiscating all of his scientific research, and to this day none of this research has been made public.

Besides his persecution by corporate-government interests (which is practically a certification of authenticity), there is at least one solid indication of Nikola Tesla’s integrity — he tore up a contract with Westinghouse that was worth billions in order to save the company from paying him his huge royalty payments.

But, let’s take a look at what Nikola Tesla — a man who died broke and alone — has actually given to the world.  For better or worse, with credit or without, he changed the face of the planet in ways that perhaps no man ever has.

1. Alternating Current — This is where it all began, and what ultimately caused such a stir at the 1893 World’s Expo in Chicago.  A war was leveled ever-after between the vision of Edison and the vision of Tesla for how electricity would be produced and distributed.  The division can be summarized as one of cost and safety: The DC current that Edison (backed by General Electric) had been working on was costly over long distances, and produced dangerous sparking from the required converter (called a commutator).  Regardless, Edison and his backers utilized the general “dangers” of electric current to instill fear in Tesla’s alternative: Alternating Current.  As proof, Edison sometimes electrocuted animals at demonstrations.  Consequently, Edison gave the world the electric chair, while simultaneously maligning Tesla’s attempt to offer safety at a lower cost.  Tesla responded by demonstrating that AC was perfectly safe by famously shooting current through his own body to produce light.  This Edison-Tesla (GE-Westinghouse) feud in 1893 was the culmination of over a decade of shady business deals, stolen ideas, and patent suppression that Edison and his moneyed interests wielded over Tesla’s inventions. Yet, despite it all, it is Tesla’s system that provides power generation and distribution to North America in our modern era.

2. Light — Of course he didn’t invent light itself, but he did invent how light can be harnessed and distributed.  Tesla developed and used florescent bulbs in his lab some 40 years before industry “invented” them. At the World’s Fair, Tesla took glass tubes and bent them into famous scientists’ names, in effect creating the first neon signs.  However, it is his Tesla Coil that might be the most impressive, and controversial.  The Tesla Coil is certainly something that big industry would have liked to suppress: the concept that the Earth itself is a magnet that can generate electricity (electromagnetism) utilizing frequencies as a transmitter.  All that is needed on the other end is the receiver — much like a radio.

3. X-rays — Electromagnetic and ionizing radiation was heavily researched in the late 1800s, but Tesla researched the entire gamut. Everything from a precursor to Kirlian photography, which has the ability to document life force, to what we now use in medical diagnostics, this was a transformative invention of which Tesla played a central role.  X-rays, like so many of Tesla’s contributions, stemmed from his belief that everything we need to understand the universe is virtually around us at all times, but we need to use our minds to develop real-world devices to augment our innate perception of existence.

4. Radio — Guglielmo Marconi was initially credited, and most believe him to be the inventor of radio to this day.  However, the Supreme Court overturned Marconi’s patent in 1943, when it was proven that Tesla invented the radio years previous to Marconi.  Radio signals are just another frequency that needs a transmitter and receiver, which Tesla also demonstrated in 1893 during a presentation before The National Electric Light Association.  In 1897 Tesla applied for two patents  US 645576, and US 649621. In 1904, however, The U.S. Patent Office reversed its decision, awarding Marconi a patent for the invention of radio, possibly influenced by Marconi’s financial backers in the States, who included Thomas Edison and Andrew Carnegie. This also allowed the U.S. government (among others) to avoid having to pay the royalties that were being claimed by Tesla.

5. Remote Control — This invention was a natural outcropping of radio. Patent No.613809 was the first remote controlled model boat, demonstrated in 1898.  Utilizing several large batteries; radio signals controlled switches, which then energized the boat’s propeller, rudder, and scaled-down running lights. While this exact technology was not widely used for some time, we now can see the power that was appropriated by the military in its pursuit of remote controlled war. Radio controlled tanks were introduced by the Germans in WWII, and developments in this realm have since slid quickly away from the direction of human freedom.

6. Electric Motor — Tesla’s invention of the electric motor has finally been popularized by a carbrandishing his name.  While the technical specifications are beyond the scope of this summary, suffice to say that Tesla’s invention of a motor with rotating magnetic fields could have freed mankind much sooner from the stranglehold of Big Oil.  However, his invention in 1930 succumbed to the economic crisis and the world war that followed. Nevertheless, this invention has fundamentally changed the landscape of what we now take for granted: industrial fans, household applicances, water pumps, machine tools, power tools, disk drives, electric wristwatches and compressors.

7. Robotics — Tesla’s overly enhanced scientific mind led him to the idea that all living beings are merely driven by external impulses.  He stated: “I have by every thought and act of mine, demonstrated, and does so daily, to my absolute satisfaction that I am an automaton endowed with power of movement, which merely responds to external stimuli.”  Thus, the concept of the robot was born.  However, an element of the human remained present, as Tesla asserted that these human replicas should have limitations — namely growth and propagation. Nevertheless, Tesla unabashedly embraced all of what intelligence could produce.  His visions for a future filled with intelligent cars, robotic human companions, and the use of sensors, and autonomous systems are detailed in a must-read entry in the Serbian Journal of Electrical Engineering, 2006 (PDF).

8. Laser — Tesla’s invention of the laser may be one of the best examples of the good and evil bound up together within the mind of man.  Lasers have transformed surgical applications in an undeniably beneficial way, and they have given rise to much of our current digital media. However, with this leap in innovation we have also crossed into the land of science fiction.  From Regan’s “Star Wars” laser defense system to today’s Orwellian “non-lethal” weapons’ arsenal, which includes laser rifles and directed energy “death rays,” there is great potential for development in both directions.

9 and 10. Communications and Limitless Free Energy — These two are inextricably linked, as they were the last straw for the power elite — what good is energy if it can’t be metered and controlled?  Free?  Never.  J.P. Morgan backed Tesla with $150,000 to build a tower that would use the natural frequencies of our universe to transmit data, including a wide range of information communicated through images, voice messages, and text.  This represented the world’s first wireless communications, but it also meant that aside from the cost of the tower itself, the universe was filled with free energy that could be utilized to form a world wide web connecting all people in all places, as well as allow people to harness the free energy around them.  Essentially, the 0’s and 1’s of the universe are embedded in the fabric of existence for each of us to access as needed.  Nikola Tesla was dedicated to empowering the individual to receive and transmit this data virtually free of charge.  But we know the ending to that story . . . until now?

Tesla had perhaps thousands of other ideas and inventions that remain unreleased.  A look at his hundreds of patents shows a glimpse of the scope he intended to offer.  If you feel that the additional technical and scientific research of Nikola Tesla should be revealed for public scrutiny and discussion, instead of suppressed by big industry and even our supposed institutions of higher education, please sign this petition to demand that power brokers everywhere learn that we are ready to Occupy Energy and learn about what our universe really has to offer.

The release of Nikola Tesla’s technical and scientific research — specifically his research into harnessing electricity from the ionosphere at a facility called Wardenclyffe — is a necessary step toward true freedom of information.  The petition has a goal of 25,000 signatures and is very nearly there, but even if reached by the time of this reading, please continue to add your voice by sharing this information with as many people as possible.

A Facebook event page for the official call on January 7th, the anniversary of Tesla’s death, can be found here:  http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=311216412237332

For additional information about the demand for release, please visit:http://releaseteslasresearch.weebly.com/

As they state:

Tell your friends, bring it up and discuss it at your next general assembly, do whatever you can to get the word out, organize locally to make a stand for the release of Nikola Tesla’s research…. America is tired of corrupt corporate greed, supported by The American government, holding us back in a stagnant society in the name of profit . . . The Energy Crisis is a lie.

As an aside: there are some who have pointed out that Tesla’s experimentation with the ionosphere very well could have caused the massive explosion over Tunguska, Siberia in 1908, which leveled an estimated 60 million trees over 2,150 square kilometers, and may even have led to the much maligned HAARP technology.  I submit that we would do well to remember that technology is never the true enemy; it is the misuse of technology that can enslave rather than free mankind from its animal-level survivalism.

Please view the video below, which does an excellent job at personalizing this largely forgotten human being, as well as show the reasons why to this day he is not a household name.
