USS Ponce joins USS Enterprise in Persian Gulf

Contributor: “YYC”

How much clearer could it be that a false flag event is planned?

Further to our earlier discussion about the US having found a way to dispose of its scrap metal and at the same time create a pretext (with the help of Israel?) for WWIII, here is the latest news report (bolding mine):

Pentagon deploys ‘mothership’ to Persian Gulf as tensions with Iran escalate

The Pentagon is rushing a “mothership” to the Middle East to be used by commando teams as unrest in the region heightens, reports The Washington Post.

The U.S. Navy is planning to refit the USS Ponce, an amphibious transport docking ship, which was about to be retired and decommissioned.

The Ponce was commissioned in 1971 – it’s now over 40 years old. Wikipedia reports:

On 2 December, 2011, Ponce came home to await decommissioning on 30 March, 2012, when she would be towed to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and be placed with the mothball fleet

And now “she” is headed to the Gulf. How much clearer could it be that a false flag event is planned?

Police Get Help With Confronting Veterans

From Officer.com

The Justice Department is funding an unusual national training program to help police deal with an increasing number of volatile confrontations involving combat veterans.

The Justice Department is funding an unusual national training program to help police deal with an increasing number of volatile confrontations involving highly trained and often heavily armed combat veterans.

Developers of the pilot program, to be launched at 15 U.S. sites this year, said there is an “urgent need” to de-escalate crises in which even SWAT teams may be facing tactical disadvantages against mentally ill suspects who also happen to be trained in modern warfare.

“We just can’t use the blazing-guns approach anymore when dealing with disturbed individuals who are highly trained in all kinds of tactical operations, including guerrilla warfare,” said Dennis Cusick, executive director of the Upper Midwest Community Policing Institute. “That goes beyond the experience of SWAT teams.”

Cusick, who is developing the program along with institute training director William Micklus, said local authorities have a better chance of defusing violent confrontations by immediately engaging suspects in discussions about their military experience — not with force.

The aim, Micklus said, is to try to reconnect them with “a sense of integrity” lost in the fog of emotional distress.

“You can’t win by trying to out-combat them,” Cusick said. “You emphasize what it means to be a Marine, a soldier to people who now feel out of control.”

There is no data that specifically tracks police confrontations with suspects currently or formerly associated with the military. But an Army report issued this year found that violent felonies in the service were up 1% while non-violent felonies increased 11% between 2010 and 2011.

During that time, however, crime in much of the nation declined.

Good that this is happening now, but the article completely ommitted the reality that this kind of education comes far too late for some of our mentally ill Vets who have wound up dead at the hands of law enforcement.

“A suspect was shot and killed by one of my officers,” Gillespie said. “Any time we have a fatal use of law enforcement, it’s a sad day.” MyNews3.com identified the man as Stanley Gibson, whose wife, Rondha, said he was battling post-traumatic stress disorder and brain cancer from serving in the Gulf War. “He would go into paranoid delusions, thinking people were after him,” she said. “He would get scared. He would get severe anxiety.”

But I have to ask why so many of our Vets from campaigns like those in Afghanistan wind up, when discharged, with a huge array of mental illnesses.

And the only possible conclusion I can come to is that, perhaps, when they were in country for a while, they recognized that the United States was not on the right side of history in these military misadventures. What the police call “mental illness” may be moral outrage.

To be forced to fight and kill on command, when you are, at heart, a moral or even spiritual individual, after having come to that awareness, cannot help but create moral and emotional damage.

I’m not saying that all wars are wrong. I am the very proud daughter of a Dad who enlisted – disabled -in World War II because he understood clearly that Japan and Germany had to stopped. I am very painfully aware that any aggressor who started a war in the last century got beaten up, big-time. And this is why the US’s pre-emptive wars in the 21st century concern me deeply, morally and spiritually.

What was “won” in the war against Iraq?!? Exxon-Mobil got their oil development deals, period, end of discussion.

Iraq, the country which formerly enjoyed the highest standard of living in the Muslim Middle East, has been utterly destroyed by the US invasion and occupation, and is on the brink of sectarian civil war.

And who is “winning” the 10 year and counting in the US/NATO occupation of Afghanistan?

The drug lords (and the banks which launder their money) and the defense contractors, that’s who.

Understanding that what we have had in these wars is publicly funded war, ultimately for private profit, would be enough to make sensible people at least very angry and upset. Add to that the pressures of combat, and you have all the elements necessary for a perfect storm of mental illness for our returning Veterans.~~ Mike R.

The Reality of Electronic Vote Fraud in America

Dissident News & Analysis

SATURDAY, 28 JANUARY 2012 15:22

As this system is the only form and principle of government by which liberty can be preserved, and the only one that can embrace all the varieties of a great extent of country, it necessarily follows, that to have the representation real, the election must be real; and that where the election is a fiction, the representation is a fiction also. Like will always produce like.
– Thomas Paine to the Citizens of the United States, 29 January 1803

While most Americans will vote on electronic voting machines in 2012, the public is generally unaware of how easy it is for an election to be stolen by the people who control these machines.  This is the fundamental problem that has disenfranchised the American voter and has turned our elections into fiction.  As Thomas Paine wrote in 1803, “where the election is a fiction, the representation is a fiction also.”

The following three short video clips explain why a free people should not allow elections to be conducted using such machines.  The simple and sure way to restore our democratic franchise is to return to hand-counted paper ballots which are openly counted in front of the public in each polling place.  This is the absolutely essential element, the sine qua non, of open and transparent elections.  This is what we must return to in every county in every state across the nation.

For more on how elections should be conducted, see my article “Restoring Democracy in America”

Two of the biggest voting machine companies, ES&S and Diebold, were set up by two brothers from Ohama, Robert and Todd Urosevich.  The 2011 obituary of their mother, Helen Catherine Varda Urosevich, has been added at the end of this piece to help identify the Urosevich brothers.

From The Editor – Doesn’t really matter :

In a two-party tyranny such as the JewSA it doesn’t really matter whether the votes are properly counted. Democrats, Republicans, what difference does it make? We all thought under Baby Bush that things couldn’t get any worse, and along came Obimbo and proved us wrong. Votes in the U.S. as elsewhere are as genuine as World Wrestling Federation “smackdowns”, fake competitions between actors who all work for the same mob.

The Bible Unearthed (The Documentary)

From Pyramidion

Politics & Faith – Egyptology & Art

    Timeless Egypt

By Dr. Ashraf Ezzat

“Prof. Israel Finkelstein & Neil Silberman, Two of archaeology’s leading scholars shed new light on how the Bible came into existence. They assert, for example, that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob never existed, that David and Solomon were not great kings but obscure chieftains and that the Exodus never happened.”

             Israel Finkelstein

For the first time, the true history of ancient Israel as revealed through recent archaeological discoveries-and a controversial new take on when, why and how the Bible was written. In the past three decades, archaeologists have made great strides in recovering the lost world of the Old Testament. Dozens of digs in Egypt, Israel, Jordan and Lebanon have changed experts’ understanding of ancient Israel and its neighbours- as well as their vision of the Bible’s greatest tales.

Yet until now, the public has remained almost entirely unaware of these discoveries which help separate legend from historical truth. Here, at last, two of archaeology’s leading scholars shed new light on how the Bible came into existence. They assert, for example, that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob never existed, that David and Solomon were not great kings but obscure chieftains and that the Exodus never happened.

They offer instead a new historical truth: the Bible was created by the people of the small, southern nation of Judah in a heroic last-ditch attempt to keep their faith alive after the demise of the larger, wealthier nation of Israel to the north. It is in this truth, not in the myths of the past, that the real value of the Bible is evident.

The Bible is both a religious and historical work, but how much is myth and how much is history? When and why was the Old Testament written, and by whom? What do contemporary archaeologists know about the Patriarchs? The Exodus? The Conquest of Canaan? Kings David and Solomon? Where do the people of Israel originally come from? Why were the historical accounts of the Bible written down?

A masterful archaeological and biblical investigation, The Bible Unearthed visits digs in Egypt, Jordan and Israel – including Megiddo, the cradle of biblical archeology, where 7,000 years of history have been excavated.

This far-ranging exploration of biblical history also makes use of archival footage of previous archaeological excavations, maps, biblical illustrations and computer animation, revealing ancient architecture, cuneiform tablets and other rare artifacts.

Based on the best-selling book (The Bible Unearthed) by prominent Israeli archaeologist Israel Finkelstein & coauthored by American historian Neil Asher Silberman, this enthralling documentary features interviews with archaeological specialists and biblical scholars from all over the world, including experts from the Louvre, the Museum of Cairo, the Museum of Jerusalem, and the British Museum.

The Bible Unearthed does something which has never been done before: it reveals a still-unraveling revolution of what we know of the society, the history, and the men who wrote the Bible.

Shut Down Global Internet censorship is here.

Posted by

Global Internet censorship is here.  SOPA and PIPA have been stopped (at least for now) in the United States, but a treaty known as ACTA (the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement) is far worse than either of them.  ACTA was quietly signed by Barack Obama back on October 1st, 2011 and most Americans have never even heard of it.  But it could mean the end of the Internet as we know it.

This new treaty gives foreign governments and copyright owners incredibly broad powers.  If you are alleged to have violated a copyright, your website can be shut down without a trial and police may even show up at your door to take you to prison.

It doesn’t even have to be someone in the United States that is accusing you.  It could just be a foreign government or a copyright owner halfway across the world that alleges that you have violated a copyright.  It doesn’t matter.

So far, the U.S., the EU and seven other nations have signed on to ACTA, and the number of participants is expected to continue to grow.  The “powers that be” are obsessed with getting Internet censorship one way or another.  The open and free Internet that you and I have been enjoying for all these years is about to change, and not for the better.

So how come the U.S. Senate never voted on ACTA?  Doesn’t the U.S. Constitution mandate that all treaties must be approved by a two-thirds vote in the Senate?

Of course it does.

But Barack Obama has gotten around this by calling ACTA an “executive agreement”, which is a load of crap.

Unfortunately, this is the kind of nonsense we are getting out of Obama on a regular basis now.  He has shown endless disdain for the U.S. Constitution.

Some members of Congress are expressing deep alarm over ACTA.  For example, U.S. Representative Darrell Issa is calling ACTA “more dangerous than SOPA“.

There are some members of Congress that are even demanding that ACTA be submitted to the U.S. Senate for a vote.  Unfortunately, their voices are very few so far, and ACTA is getting next to no coverage in the mainstream media.

But this new treaty is very, very serious.  It basically mandates that all Internet communications be constantly monitored for copyright infringement.  Sites like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter will have to monitor accounts for copyright infringement 24 hours a day.

If you are alleged to have committed a violation, you might not just lose your social media account or your website.

You could potentially be sent to prison.

What we are talking about is Chinese-style Internet censorship for the entire globe.

The following comes from a recent Forbes article….

“Why does ACTA matter to the media and citizens?” writes Alex Howard. “Consider the phrase “intermediary liability.” That’s the principle that websites on the Internet, like YouTube, Internet service providers, web hosting companies or social networks, should not be held liable for the content created or uploaded by their users.”

The new rules proposed in ACTA essentially transform Western ISPs into something more along the lines of ISPs in China and other more restrictive nations.

One of the worst elements of ACTA is that it would allow accusers of copyright infringement to completely and totally bypass judicial review.

If you don’t think that ACTA will change the Internet, just check out the following excerpt from a recent article by Paul Joseph Watson….

Under the provisions of ACTA, copyright holders will be granted sweeping direct powers to demand ISPs remove material from the Internet on a whim. Whereas ISPs normally are only forced to remove content after a court order, all legal oversight will be abolished, a precedent that will apply globally, rendering the treaty worse in its potential scope for abuse than SOPA or PIPA.

Big sites like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter may just decide that it is too much of a hassle to monitor millions of pieces of content.  Allowing users to constantly post content on their sites would be a huge risk.  In fact, if they are found to be allowing “copyright infringement”, those sites could be permanently shut down.

The American people need to get educated about this new treaty before it is too late.  There is still a chance that we could get the U.S. Congress to take action against this new treaty.

Under ACTA, Internet service providers will essentially be required to become the police of the Internet.  This was explained in a recent article by Cory Doctorow….

New revelations on ACTA, the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA), a secretive global copyright being privately negotiated by rich countries away from the UN: ACTA will require ISPs to police trademarks the way they currently police copyright. That means that if someone accuses you of violating a trademark with a web-page, blog-post, video, tweet, etc, your ISP will be required to nuke your material without any further proof, or be found to be responsible for any trademark violations along with you. And of course, trademark violations are much harder to verify than copyright violations, since they often hinge on complex, fact-intensive components like tarnishment, dilution and genericization. Meaning that ISPs are that much more likely to simply take all complaints at face-value, leading to even more easy censorship of the Internet with nothing more than a trumped-up trademark claim.

One of the big problems with ACTA is that it is way too broad and way too vague.

Vague language allows authorities to “interpret” the law any way that they see fit.

This can often lead to selective enforcement.  Websites that authorities like will be left alone, while those that they don’t like will be harassed or completely shut down.

ACTA was written in secret and it has been pushed through very, very quietly.  The following comes from a recent CNN article….

Like many trade agreements, ACTA is a confusing mess. Even its signatories don’t agree on how it’s supposed to work. The way it’s been pushed forward has also been unruly — talks have been held in secret, without any kind of legislative oversight or input from citizens or public-interest groups. The public only became aware of it in 2008, a couple of years after discussions began, when Wikileaks published a discussion paper. Since then, drafts of the pact have been released to the public, each successively less onerous to critics. Reportedly, though, big media and pharmaceutical lobbyists have been privy to the talks all along

Of course – this is a chance for big media and big corporations to take control of the Internet.

The way ACTA has been pushed on us has been absolutely disgusting.  In fact, one key EU official that was in charge of investigating ACTA has resigned in protest over how this whole thing has gone down.  He says that ACTA is basically being crammed down the throats of the European people….

I want to denounce in the strongest possible manner the entire process that led to the signature of this agreement: no inclusion of civil society organisations, a lack of transparency from the start of the negotiations, repeated postponing of the signature of the text without an explanation being ever given, exclusion of the EU Parliament’s demands that were expressed on several occasions in our assembly.

As rapporteur of this text, I have faced never-before-seen manoeuvres from the right wing of this Parliament to impose a rushed calendar before public opinion could be alerted, thus depriving the Parliament of its right to expression and of the tools at its disposal to convey citizens’ legitimate demands.”

Everyone knows the ACTA agreement is problematic, whether it is its impact on civil liberties, the way it makes Internet access providers liable, its consequences on generic drugs manufacturing, or how little protection it gives to our geographical indications.

This agreement might have major consequences on citizens’ lives, and still, everything is being done to prevent the European Parliament from having its say in this matter. That is why today, as I release this report for which I was in charge, I want to send a strong signal and alert the public opinion about this unacceptable situation. I will not take part in this masquerade.

For much more on ACTA, please watch the remarkable video posted below.  It does a great job of explaining exactly what ACTA is and why we need to be so concerned about it….

The world is changing and the Internet is changing.

If you don’t speak up now, the Internet as we know it today may soon be gone for good.

The 10 Rules For Your Emergency Food Pantry

SHTF Plan - When The Shit Hits the Fan, Don't Say We Didn't Warn You - Preparedness, Planning, News, and Commentary

From SHTFplan

By Tess Pennington

The article has been generously contributed by Tess Pennington of Ready NutritionAfter joining the Dallas chapter of the American Red Cross in 1999 Tess worked as an  Armed Forces Emergency Services Center  specialist and is well versed in emergency and disaster management & response. You can follow her regular updates on PreparednessHomesteading, and a host of other topics at www.readynutrition.com .

Those of you who plan to take the first steps toward preparing for emergencies may feel a bit overwhelmed at where to begin. After all, there is a lot of food to choose from at the grocery stores. Many websites, including this one encourage families to start buying small amounts of food related preparedness items each time they go shopping. This way, your budget is not dramatically affected.

Food storage calculators are a great tool to incorporate in your preparedness planning, and can help you understand how much food your family will need for a given emergency. The food storage calculations can also be printed out and used as an inventory list to keep you on track in terms of what preparedness supplies you have and will need.

To make the most of your emergency food supply, keep these essential food pantry rules in mind before purchasing:

  1. Caloric intake is an important factor in survival. In any disaster situation, you want to avoid malnutrition. Having foods stored to prevent this health issue will keep you at your optimum health. Stock up on foods that provide you with essential nutrients to maintain body functions, proteins and carbohydrates, fats for energy, as well as foods that are not high in salt (the more salty your food is, the more water you will drink). To calculate how many calories you will need in your diet, click here.

  2. Consider buying multifunctional food items. Items that can serve more than one purpose will help your finances, as well as save precious space in the food storage pantry. Items such as oats, pasta, rice, wheat and beans are some great low-cost foods will serve a variety of uses.

  3. Store high energy snacks to help boost energy levels. Eating snacks that are high in complex carbohydrates and protein will provide you with a guaranteed energy boost. High energy snacks such as nuts, peanut butter, crackers, granola bars and trail mix can be stored for up to 1 year and will help keep energy levels and spirits high in an emergency scenario.

  4. Bring on the protein! Protein is an essential ingredient in our daily diets and cannot be omitted out of a survival diet. Canned meat is a good source of protein and can also help you maintain your energy level. Meats such as tuna, ham, chicken and spam are great additions to the food pantry and are multifunctional. (Remember, the oil in canned meat can be used as an emergency candle.) Beans are another great source of protein, and when beans are accompanied with rice, it makes a complete protein which provides all the amino acids needed to survive. One serving of beans and rice provides 19.9 g, or 40 percent of your daily vitamins.

  5. Don’t forget the basics. Essential staples such as cooking oil, flour, cornmeal, salt, sugar, spices, baking soda, baking powder and vinegar should not be overlooked.  If they are present in your kitchen, they should likewise be present in the emergency food supply.

  6. Convenience helps in stressful situations. Many moms know that boxed dinners can be a lifesaver when you are in a time crunch. Having some pre-packaged dinners and meals-to-grab during emergency scenarios will help you begin acclimating yourself to cooking in a grid down scenario as well as can help provide some comfort at the same time. Personally speaking, my family has the “just add water” pancake mixes, corn breads and drink mixes that are a great convenience.

  7. Variety’s the very spice of life, that gives it all it’s pleasure. Variety in your food pantry is important and can prevent the monotony that comes with eating the same foods day in and day out. Having a well rounded food storage will cut down on culinary boredom, as well as balance your diet. Further, stocking up on a variety of spices will also enhance your food pantry.

  8. Find comfort in the little things. Have some comfort food items that provide enjoyment to the family. Items such as popcorn, sweet cereals, hard candy, juice boxes, pickles, applesauce, pudding, cookies could be a great way to provide a bit of normalcy to the emergency situation you may face.

  9. Have backs up for your backs ups. Compressed food bars are lightweight, taste good and are nutritious. Having food bars as a back up to your existing food supply can provide you with piece of mind knowing you have an alternative to turn to if you run out of food. Further, these are great additions to your 72-hour bag or bug out vehicle. A review of the different types of bars can be read here or you can practice your survival skills and make your own with this recipe. MRE’s are another alternative food choice to turn to if you happen to run out of food in your pantry. Although many have turned their nose up at MRE’s (due to their high amounts of preservatives), they will provide you with sufficient calories and nutrition when it counts. Note: These should not be the only items in your food supply. Over time, you could become nutrient and vitamin deficient.

  10. Rotate and resupply when needed. Any items bought for the food storage closet should be used, rotated and resupplied. This is the best way to have the freshest foods available in the event that a disaster occurs. When organizing food reserves place the item that has the earliest expiration date in the front so that it is used first. FIFO is a well known acronym used in the restaurant business that stands for, “First In, First Out,” and can be incorporated in your food storage endeavors. Do an inventory check every 6 months to make sure that canned goods, preserves and other storage items are within their expiration dates.

Keeping the above considerations in mind when purchasing your food supply will provide your family with a well rounded food pantry stocked with an array of foods that will assist in promoting a healthy diet. Not listed in the suggestions is water. You must have water to survive. To learn more about potable water, click here. It would be prudent to have a 2-week supply of water on hand, as well as a water filtration device to rely on for extended disasters.

Prepping is a passion for some. For others it is the most efficient way to keep their family as safe as possible. For further resources and a list of essential items for your emergency supply, click here.

A Miracle

From Alternate Economy

By Tristan Nagler

JANUARY 25, 2012

This post is dedicated to Pat Cegan.  It is a story we are all familiar with, but perhaps have not heard for a while…  When you read it, you will see that it just feels right.  At least that is my hope.

In a swirling ball of light, we existed in the Godstate, all knowing and all powerful.  Until we had an idea.  It was the most beautiful and marvelous idea we have ever had and it required investigation.

But in order to fully understand this idea we had to make a sacrifice.  We had to surrender our knowledge and split into infinite tiny sparks of light.  We lost our sense of oneness and became the idea.  We agreed to enter an adventure of unimaginable proportions.  A Universe was born.

The Universe, as best we can describe it using computers.

At first there was nothing but darkness and we were alone.  We had a sense that we existed, but nothing else.  A thought began to form.  One of balance.  Its motivator a feeling of movement.  Our center, we notice, sits still, but our edges whirl around at incredible speed.  Two equal and opposite parts to our whole.

As we begin to understand our balanced self, we sense something new.  Something pulling us.  It lasts only a second, but it is unmistakable.  A little tug off in the distance.  We ponder this little tug for ages until suddenly we feel it again, but this time from another direction.  Through time we come to realize we are not alone.  But instead there is something else out there.  Something tugging at us.

After many eons of pondering what it could be something amazing happens.  We get a little tug and we find that it does not dissapear so quickly.  The tug instead gains strength and intensity.  We feel ourselves racing towards the force until our body collides with it in a flash of energy.

Our spinning outer edge ricochets off of the force and we bounce away with incredible speed.  And then we are again alone.  What just happened?  The feeling was so exhilirating.

Then it happens again. And again. We soon come to realize that there are many others out there along with us. We begin to judge the strength of each tug to try and see if it will result in a collision. We start to crave the collisions. They are rare and exciting and lead to a better understanding of where we are.

Finally, one day we try something new. We feel a tug and begin to race towards the force, but this time, we attempt to latch on to it, rather than bouncing away. It does not work the first few times. We collide as we did every other time. We begin to notice that it is our outer spinning edge that is the problem.

It always seems to bounce off of the surface of the force. Since we have very limited knowledge at this point we can only imagine the other force being the same as us. They must have a spinning edge as well. How to make the spinning edges stick instead of bounce?

The great connundrum. It took hydrogen atoms approximately 379,000 years to figure it out. They did not bond together in the early universe. They floated separately in space, learning how to bond.

But one day we did learn. We figured it out. We learned that if we angled our spinning edge in precisely the right way, we could couple our edge onto theirs and start to spin together. Our centers would be pushed together and our edges would essentially become one. We have met our first friend. Our first soul mate. Our first love.

We thought we were alone for literally hundreds of thousands of years, until this moment in time. Our Universe has expanded. We now have someone to share our experiences with. We notice when they get too close. We notice when they get too far. We notice when they spin this way. We notice when they spin that way.

When we collide with something else, we do so now together. It is still exhilirating, but far less scary with our friend around. We learn about balance in its most basic form.

                                  Cracks in the ice.

For the next couple of billion of years we floated around with our new friend. We bounced around meeting other pairs of atoms. We tried different combinations to see what would happen.

We started grouping in concentrated areas and forming many collisions. Huge communities started forming and all sorts of new and exciting interactions started happening. We started forming the first stars. It was at this point that we were faced with our first real decision. It was a big one and it would last with us for the rest of our existence in this Universe.

We had to choose to investigate the universe as a solid or a liquid. In either case we would remain conscious and would be allowed to crystalize and react randomly. But as a solid we would be entering one frame of perspective.

One where motion is less important. As a fluid, the choice you and I made, our perspective is very different. Our bodies would remain very much in motion, similar to that spinning edge of ours.

                                Quartz tile.

The solids went off and started to do their own thing, forming rocks and crystals. The fluids had a different evolution. The fluids began to form simple amino acids and eventually even DNA. They started creating spectacular reactions and literally explored the building blocks of life. Our souls mastered the various interactions of the various chemicals, by participating in the reactions with their neighbours and waiting to see the result.

We became master chemists, learning every aspect of every building block of life. And then we tried something different. We realized that separately the building blocks were highly reactive. But together, in the right combinations, the building blocks could become very stable. Again communities began to form. This time, they came together to form the first simple cells.

Through time the communities became so close, that they began to think as one. They began to work in tandem to move in one direction, or the other. They used their combined knowledge to keep the destructive chemicals out and let the essential chemicals in.

Eventually they were even able to reproduce themselves, using complicated reactions involving precise timing and balanced resources. The newly formed life started a new cycle. As the souls quickly rearranged themselves into different lifeforms, they became more and more complex. Their thirst for knowledge about this incredible playground they have discovered cannot be sated.

It is at this point that we are confronted with our second choice. Again, this choice is permanent and will determine the course of our evolution from that point forward. We are given the choice of continuing our lives as a producer or a consumer.

The solids were given the same choice at this time. The solids could be producers, stone produced from the bowels of the earth through the process of heat and pressure and time. Or they could become consumers, and turn into crystals.

Crystals are always found inside of stones, and appear to be eating them away from the inside. For fluids the choices are a bit more obvious. The producers are the plants, using the energy from the sun to create life. The consumers are us, the animals. We must consume life in order to sustain our own. It is the choice we made.

Be it vegetables or fruit or leafy greens or the flesh of an animal, when we eat we are ending somethings life in order to sustain ours. It is not something to be guilty about. It is the way of the universe.

                                          Closeup of a leaf.

Once we made the decision to become fluid consumers, our evolution continued at full force. We started quite small, little mollusks and slugs and worms. Nothing too impressive. But as our imagination grew, we tried new things out. We tried out eyes, and mouths and flippers. We tried to get a better understanding of the world around us.

If we are allowed to move around and we are compelled to consume, it would only seem logical to start looking for ways to best do this. Through hundreds of millions of years we played around with different forms until we got to where we are today.

Literally millions of species in millions of different shapes, with millions of different skills and abilities.

                                         Blood vessels.

And then came humanity. Imagine now that our souls have come to discover that they are in fact conscious. That they live in a universe that is massive and filled with incredible wonder. We did not know this when we started. We saw the stars when we were deer and lions and geese. But we did not understand what they meant until very recently.

This is the first time in the 16 billion years of our souls development that they have started to realize that they have souls. No wonder we are freaking out! What a huge amount of information. We are at a crucial point in our souls development. We have come to know that we have souls.

What we do with this information is very important. If we can truly understand what this means, we will realize that we are God. Not individually, but together. God is not watching over us. God is living out their infinite lives through us.

We are God. Most literally. We have literally created the Universe around us over the last 16 billion years. And we are nowhere near finished. We have so much more to learn.

The Universe, as best we can describe it using computers.
