Green is the New Red – by Will Potter  When FBI and Joint Terrorism Task Force agents raided multiple activist homes in the Northwest last week, they were in search of “anti-government or anarchist literature.”

The raids were part of a multi-state operation that targeted activists in Portland, Olympia, and Seattle.

At least three people were served subpoenas to appear before a federal grand jury on August 2nd in Seattle.

In addition to anarchist literature, the warrants also authorize agents to seize flags, flag-making material, cell phones, hard drives, address books, and black clothing.

The listing of black clothing and flags, along with comments made by police, indicates that the FBI may ostensibly be investigating “black bloc” tactics used during May Day protests in Seattle, which destroyed corporate property.

If that is true, how are books and literature evidence of criminal activity?

To answer that, we need to look at the increasing harassment, surveillance, and prosecution of anarchists and political activists associated with the Occupy Movement.

In some cases, such as the May Day arrests in Cleveland, the FBI has been so desperate to arrests “anarchist terrorists” that it supplied them with bomb-making materials and used an informant to entrap them.

The same thing happened in Chicago.

The motivation for these operations, and the instruction that “anarchist” means “terrorist,” is coming straight from the top levels of the federal government.

As I recently wrote, new documents show that the FBI is conducting “domestic terrorism” training presentations about anarchists.

The FBI presentation described anarchists as “criminals seeking an ideology to justify their activities.”

This is the guilt-by-association mentality that is guiding FBI and JTTF assaults on political activists; if agents find “anarchist literature” in a raid, it is evidence of criminalactivity because anarchism, in and of itself, is criminal activity.

The Seattle grand jury may or may not be investigating May Day protests.

What’s clear, though, is that the grand jury is being used as a tool in this criminalization of those suspected as “anarchists.”

Grand juries are secretive processes that are frequently used against political activists in order to acquire information.

They are fishing expeditions.

If activists refuse to testify about their personal beliefs and political associations, they can be imprisoned. 

Jordan Halliday, for example, was recently released after serving more than six months in prison (and being imprisoned once already for four months) for asserting his First Amendment and Fifth Amendment rights and refusing to provide information about the animal rights movement.

As one organizer with Occupy Seattle said after the raid: “…we are not being raided for connection to any crime, but to some political ideology that the police think we have.

“I was just doing research on the old Pinkerton strikebreaking paramilitaries, so it’s kind of funny, you know, to have that old Red Scare history burst through my front door at six AM.”

Rex 84: Government Silently Positions for Martial Law as Financial Collapse Arrives in America

The US government has been scheming on how to provide for continuity of government for many decades now.

According to Peter Santilli, an informant who is an ex-marine and worked on portions of the contingency plans known as Rex 84, civil unrest will come after a financial collapse.

The Readiness Exercise 1984, a.k.a. Rex 84, outlines continuity of government wherein the US Constitution is suspended, martial law is declared and the US military command take over state and local governments in order to ensure stabilization of our nation at any cost.

Any American who is deemed a “national security threat” would be detained in an internment or FEMA camp.

The author of Rex 84 was Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, National Security Council (NSC) White House aids and NSC liaison to FEMA.

Rex 84 is the plan; the triggers are a series of executive orders .

It is the continuity of government under specific contingency strategies that are laid out in various operations guide manuals. 

Operation Garden Plot is a subprogram of Rex 84.

Twice before, Rex 84 was implemented – during the LA riots and on 9/11.

In these scenarios, only small portions of the entire set of documents were used.

Within the series of contingency plans, implementation of them depends on the severity of the situation.

Some of the plans include internment camps where all or portions of the active or inactive military bases would be transformed into work camps where all considered to be dissonant would be held.

The NORTHCOM army manuals clearly state that NATO forces will be used in every phase of the operation.

According to Santilli, procedures to move conventional, chemical and nuclear bombs across the nation without detection have been facilitated without notice by the US military.

Back in 1986, during his military service where he was involved with weapons transportation, Santilli describes how an unmarked refrigerated trailer driven by a civilian driver was used to transport chemical or conventional weapons to various strategic bases both above and underground.

Santilli was a specialist in aviation deployed weapons, which made him the perfect candidate to the assignment of weapons transportation.

The refrigerated truck, allocated by the administration department on base, was directed to the commissary, where the unsuspecting driver believed that he was transporting food.

The weapon was placed at the head of the trailer, and covered up with either food stores (like cans of soup) or body bags.

In the event that the truck is stopped en route, the weapon would be well hidden and go undetected by inspectors on the public highways.

A US Marine Corp bill of lading was the paperwork necessary to move the commercial refrigerated truck through weigh stations on public highways without any question.

Santilli remembers that there was not one incident where he had to enact any security measures to ensure the delivery was made.

Santilli, who was assigned to ride in the cab of the truck with the driver, says that his orders were to make sure the truck arrived at its destination.

He was informed by his superiors that if there were problems concerning potential civil unrest, he was to radio into his superiors for aid by either air or ground support.

Should the situation warrant serious attention; crowd control methods would be implemented.

One possible scenario was the use of cluster bomb units (CBUs) that will emit upon detonation, a “sleep and kill” chemical weapon that will not disturb infrastructure, but is lethal to all living things within the effected zone.

Santilli describes these particular 3 unit CBUs as shaped like water-heaters with a coned top and plunger-like device.

Once deployed in the air, a parachute assists these CBUs to the targeted area.

And when detonated, a deadly chemical gas will kill every human and animal in the specified cordoned area.

This is just one example, says Santilli, as to the lengths the US armed forces are trained to make sure continuity of government is preserved.

Santilli explained that the use of foreign troops on US soil, as described in Rex 84 and other subsequent manuals, would have a two-fold purpose.

Firstly, to provide extra security in designated areas, cities or highways; and secondly, as scapegoats were violent action used against American citizens should the US military be directed to attack civilians.

The refrigerated truck, carrying the chemical or conventional weapon with Santilli riding shotgun travelled to underground bases like the one at Yuma Proving Ground which is a ammunitions testing range for pilots.

Nestled underneath the ground is a secret military base.

Santilli explains that his knowledge of Rex 84 provides that within the document, one of the scenarios that would cause a complete suspension of the US Constitution, Bill of Rights and implement martial law would be a financial collapse.

He says once the collapse occurs, the US government and defense agencies estimate they have a 72 hour window to activate all procedures to ensure continuity of government as well as a lockdown of the general population as civilian unrest, riots and outbreaks of violence are anticipated.

A source in the Deutsche Bank claims that in 2008 our financial and monetary system completely collapsed and since that time the banking cartels have been “propping up the system” to make it appear as if everything was fine.

In reality our stock market and monetary systems are fake; meaning that there is nothing holding them in place except the illusion that they have stabilized since the Stock Market Crash nearly 5 years ago.

Since this time, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in conjunction with FEMA and other federal agencies have been quickly working to set in place their directives of control under a silent martial law.

The Deutsche Bank informant says that the cause for the bailout of the banks was a large sum of cash needed quickly to repay China who had purchased large quantities of mortgage-backed securities that went belly-up when the global scam was realized.

When China realized that they had been duped into buying worthless securitized loans which would never be repaid, they demanded the actual property instead.

The Chinese were prepared to send their “people” to American shores to seize property as allocated to them through the securitized loan contracts.

To stave this off, the American taxpayers were coerced by former President Bush and former US Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson.

During that incident, the US Senate was told emphatically that they had to approve a $700 million bailout or else martial law would be implemented immediately.

That money was funneled through the Federal Reserve Bank and wired to China, as well as other countries that were demanding repayment for the fraudulent securitizations.

To further avert financial catastrophe, as well as more debt or property seizure threats by the Chinese, the Euro was imploded there by plunging most of the European countries into an insurmountable free-fall for which they were never intended to recover.

All the money that those banks claimed they needed to avert collapse was also sent to the Chinese to add to the trillions of dollars lost during the burst of the housing bubble on the global market.

The only saving grace has been the US dollar being the global reserve currency.

However, now this prop is showing signs of wear as foreign nations like China, Russia, India and Iran are dealing in gold as currency and purchasing gold on the market at an exponential rate.

In 1970, Henry Kissinger made a deal with the Saudi Arabian government that American debt would be purchased in exchange for cheap oil.

Since then Iran has taken control over the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) by their use of gold as currency which has threatened the direct value of the US dollar as the global reserve currency.

This scenario with Iran coupled with the massive leaps forward in US military presence on American streets and the emergence of FEMA camps across the nation pose an obvious turn of events and explains exactly why we are witnessing the silent implementation of martial law.

The war with Iran has to do with gold, its use as currency and its exposure of the central banking cartel’s lack of gold which defines a fiat currency’s worth. And right now, the US dollar is absolutely worthless.

The Deutsche Bank informant says that the financial collapse that happened in 2008 will be realized here in America very soon. Once that happens, there must be full implementation of marital law to control the potential riots and control over citizens that will be desperate to feed their families.

The attacks of recent on the 2nd Amendment play a significant role in attempting “amicably” to remove the possibility of civilian retaliation against the US military’s presence throughout the nation.

However, if they cannot remove the guns from our hands in time, they will continue on with the guidelines set out in Rex 84 with directives to kill any dissenters that refuse to obey.

They’ve found a way to produce flu vaccines a lot faster than Big Pharma.

Utilizing vaccines grown on tobacco cells, instead of the traditional chicken eggs, DARPA has turned out a staggering 10 million doses of flu vaccine in just one month.

This “Blue Angel” project, as it’s called, suddenly puts the Pentagon in the forefront of the vaccine business.

The big question is: why is the Army involved in vaccines at all? And the answer is no surprise.

According to DARPA, it’s all about readiness in containing bio-threats.

Translated, that means terrorist attacks that could use flu viruses.

This is a sinister development.

It creates a potential scenario in which the military can invent the “bio-threat” and then step in and provide the solution.

It doesn’t really matter whether the bio-threat is real or imaginary.

The threat would offer the chance to initiate a martial-law scenario, after which the military vaccine would be made mandatory, destroying the right of each state in the union to permit, as is now the case, people to opt out of vaccination on religious, medical, or ethical grounds.

The Pentagon is famous for developing weapons and then lobbying for battlefield opportunities to use them.

This is part and parcel of their “war is forever” mentality.

Well, in this case, the vaccine becomes the defensive weapon, and you can be sure the Pentagon will strive to deploy it in a situation that “demands it”—a chilling prospect.

Several medical issues arise as well.

First, what safety tests have been done to ensure that tobacco viruses don’t enter these DARPA vaccines through lab contamination, thereby finding their way into the human bloodstream, via injection, and causing uncharted health problems?

No word about that, just as there was no word, historically, about various Pentagon weapons systems that later proved to be dangerous to the soldiers using them (e.g, the Bradley Fighting Vehicle).

Hidden in the story about the new means of vaccine production: the employment of a synthetic construction that is supposed to mimic the human immune system.

To test the ability of the tobacco-vaccines to induce a “robust immune response,” this new chemical lab-version of an immune system becomes the guinea pig.

But there is no proof that such an artifact works or is translatable to actual processes of the human body.

Finally, DARPA states that the vaccine it just produced contains aluminum.

Toxicity for humans is thus guaranteed.

In the hands of the Pentagon, what could possibly go wrong with this Blue Angel program?

Everything.

In case we need to review the most recent “epidemic” advertised by the CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO), it killed, by the most generous estimates, 20,000 people worldwide.

Despite being labeled a catastrophic level-6 pandemic, the H1N1 Swine Flu turned out to be a comparative dud. WHO states that, every year, seasonal non-pandemic flu kills between 250,000 and 500,000 people.

The CDC and WHO relentlessly promoted Swine Flu as a monster menace that could invade and decimate the planet.

Therefore, everyone needed to step up and take the vaccine.

These civilian agencies are mere pikers compared to the Pentagon.

Can you imagine what the Dept. of Defense would promote and launch to guarantee their vaccine finds a place in your bloodstream?

The DOD regularly makes conflict of interest into an art form.

Martial law? No problem.

Police Say Man Handcuffed With Arms Behind Back Shot Himself In Head

How many stories have we read already of police shooting handcuffed people and/or shooting unarmed people in the back ?

It is more obvious than ever,  

that the police are doing all these things to cause an uprising which will help the Government justify it’s martial law. 

And by the way, the reason President Barry (the Obama) Soetoro and his partner in treasonous crime, 

Secretary of State Hillary (the Hemorroide) Clinton,  are pushing so hard for this U.N. (grab our guns) treaty,

is because they already know that most of our soldiers will desert rather than go along with taking our guns and/or killing us if we don’t comply .

Police say a man they patted down double locked in the back of their patrol car shot himself in head while handcuffed behind his back.

This story – like any that deal with government corruption or police brutality – lack the pertinent details to jump to any conclusions but what is being reported is somehow a man was searched, handcuffed behind his back and double locked in the back of a patrol car.

Just moments later, police say the they heard thumping in the back of the car and then man shot himself in the back of the head.

There are simply no answers to some basic questions and the news simply didn’t even bother to ask them but at this point the story is pretty unbelievable.

Instead of asking those questions, in typical parrot media fashion, the story simply has a quote from the dead man’s mother saying her son was not suicidal and she does not believe the official story.

New report shows rising US child poverty

A new report by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, “Kids Count Databook 2012” [PDF], reveals a sharp decline in economic well-being for children in the United States over the past few years.

Among the report’s more stark figures, the number of children living in poverty increased by 1 million between 2010 and 2011.

This is an astounding increase for a single year.

It is particularly telling given that such a drastic increase in poverty continued well after the Obama administration officially declared that the recession had ended.

Between 2000 and 2010, the number of children living in poverty soared upward by nearly 30 percent, from 12.2 million to 15.7 million.

“The additional 3.5 million children living in poverty is nearly equivalent to the entire population of the city of Los Angeles,” the report notes.

The report gathered data from various government agencies to rate each state on 16 different criteria.

The criteria were split into four different categories: economic well-being, family and community, health, and education.

All four indicators reveal a dramatic increase in economic stress on children.

A full 22 percent of all children in the US now live below the poverty line, which was a meager $22,113 for a family of four in 2010.

The artificially low poverty cutoff leaves out many families that suffer from deprivation. According to the report, “families need an income of roughly twice the official poverty level to meet their basic needs, including housing, food, transportation, health care and child care.”

Nearly half of all children, 44 percent, live in low income families that earn less than twice the poverty threshold.

The lack of family income is tied to two related economic indicators that have been exacerbated by the continuing economic crisis: the availability of regular employment and housing costs.

One-third of American children live in households without secure employment, i.e., no parent has full-time, year-round employment.

That constitutes a 22 percent increase from 2008 and is reflected in the growing trend of replacing full-time jobs with part-time work.

Employment for teens is also increasingly tenuous.

The report shows 9 percent of teens were neither working nor in school.

Only 16 percent of youth who graduated from high school after 2008 have full-time work.

Nationally, 41 percent of children live in households that spend more than 30 percent of their income on housing.

This is up from 37 percent in 2005.

Unsurprisingly, the states with the highest percent of such households were also the ones hardest hit by the foreclosure crisis.

California topped the list, with 54 percent of all children living under a high housing cost burden, followed by New Jersey, Nevada, and Florida.

In total, these economic indicators paint a bleak picture for children after the 2008 recession.

The indicators for education showed improvement in graduation rate and test scores, by contrast, and among the health indicators were a decline in teen drug abuse, and child and teen mortality.

On the other hand, rates of childhood obesity and diabetes—serious health conditions, associated with diets consisting of cheap “filler foods,” that almost exclusively afflict the poorest families—are on the rise.

Measurements of childhood mental health, juvenile justice involvement, and child abuse are not included in the report.

The family and community indicators were mixed, with a small decline in teen pregnancy and more household heads having a high school diploma.

Overall, there are 1.6 million more children living in high poverty areas—communities where more than 30 percent of the population is under the poverty line—than in 2000.

All of the indicators reflect a widening disparity in living conditions between children across income groups, exacerbated by budgetary assaults from the federal level down.

For minority populations, the measures of well-being were worse than the average.

The report notes that black children are nine times as likely as their white counterparts to live in high-poverty census tracts—most in the rural South or distressed industrial cities.

Thirty-eight percent of black children live in poverty; 32 percent of Latino children are in poverty.

In its introduction, the report cites a recent Stanford University study that found “the gap in standardized test scores between affluent and low-income students has grown by about 40 percent since the 1960s, and is now double the testing gap between African American and non-Hispanic whites, which declined over the same period.”

In early childhood education, “only a small percentage of poor children participate in programs of sufficient quality and intensity to overcome the developmental deficits associated with chronic economic hardship and low levels of parental education.”

One important finding in the report is the vast regional inequality between states.

The Southeast, Southwest, and Appalachian regions of the country lag far behind the Midwest, and Northeast in every category.

The difference between the top and bottom ranked states is quite large in most categories.

For example, only 10 percent of children in New Hampshire live in poverty, as compared to 33 percent of Mississippi children.

The lowest ranked state was Mississippi, which is both the poorest state by median income and had the third highest income inequality of all the states in 2008, according to the Economic Policy Institute.

By many measures—life expectancy, infant mortality rates, chronic conditions—Mississippi is equivalent to the developing world.

Across the South and Appalachia, populations suffer living conditions on par with countries in Africa or Eastern Europe.

As the economic crisis continues, the circumstances facing children and youth will continue to deteriorate.

In his introduction to the report, Patrick McCarthy, president and CEO of The Annie E. Casey Foundation, describes the dangers of a generation raised impoverished in purely nationalist terms.

He is afraid that these youth will be “less able to compete and thrive in the global economy,” thus hurting ” the strength of our nation.”

In a global ranking of 31 developed countries, the US ranked 27th in measures of economic opportunity and equality.

However, childhood poverty is not a national issue but a global one.

According to UNICEF over a billion children worldwide live in poverty.

The worldwide effects of the economic crises in the US and Europe amply demonstrate that the social and economic issues in the US cannot be solved within the framework of international competition.

US politicians prostitute their country for Israel lobby support

Jamal Kanj argues that, in their eagerness for Israel lobby election campaign funds and Jewish votes, US politicians have put Israeli interests ahead of those of the American people, displaying rare unity in doling out more US taxpayer money for Israel at a time of economic recession, possibly violating the US constitution and in effect surrendering America’s UN veto power to Israel.

Pre-empting Mitt Romney’s campaign visit to Israel, President Barack Obama on 31 August signed the United States-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act of 2012.

The bill was drafted by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and co-sponsored by Israeli firsters Barbara Boxer and Howard Berman, of the US Senate and House respectively.

The omnipresence of Israeli lobbyists at the signing of the “rare bipartisan” bill provided a perfect background display of the foreign lobby’s power in the US.

United in the service of Israel

President Obama used five pens to sign the act as he was flanked by the two legislators and three Israeli lobbyists: AIPAC Chairman Lee Rosenberg, former AIPAC Chairman Howard Friedman, and the chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, Richard Stone.

“At a time when the US is experiencing its worst economic conditions since the Great Depression, Congress dropped its debate rules to expedite additional financial, political and military commitments to Israel, including extending a bank loan guarantee for 9 billion dollars and making available for free to the Israeli military ‘excess defence articles’ following the US withdrawal from Iraq.”

Following the signing –  and the upstaging of Romney in Jerusalem – National Jewish Democratic Council president and chief executive, David Harris, boasted: “With today’s signing, there should be no doubt that this pro-Israel president stands squarely behind Israel.”

While gridlocked for months on a jobs bill for unemployed Americans, Congress “suspended the rules” to pass the AIPAC-inspired measure with unparalleled bipartisanship and cooperation.

At a time when the US is experiencing its worst economic conditions since the Great Depression, Congress dropped its debate rules to expedite additional financial, political and military commitments to Israel, including extending a bank loan guarantee for 9 billion dollars and making available for free to the Israeli military “excess defence articles” following the US withdrawal from Iraq.

Republican House Majority leader Eric Cantor acknowledged the support came despite difficult economic times.

“When we are facing huge fiscal challenges, this bill makes it clear that no matter what, the US always stands strong in our support for Israel,” he said.

From the other side of the aisle, Democratic whip Steny Hoyer applauded Congress’s united position on supporting Israel “while we may divide on other matters”.

Violating the constitution?

Strangely, Section 3, Article 1 of the act might even contravene the first amendment of the US constitution, which prohibits Congress from making “law respecting an establishment of religion”.

That’s because the bill calls on “the US to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the security of the … Jewish state”.

Disregarding US intelligence community concerns, the bill directs government agencies to strengthen cooperation with Israel on espionage, “including satellite intelligence, high technology”.

Ironically, on 1 August, the Associated Press reported that former CIA officials warned that the CIA considers Israel to be the USA’s biggest spy threat.

Israel was the only US ally caught a myriad of times spying on the US and/or sharing intelligence information with US enemies.

Surrendering the UN veto

But possibly the most alarming part of the bill was the way it essentially hands the US veto at the UN Security Council to Israel.

Section 3, Article 3 of the bill calls on the US to make it policy to veto any one-sided anti-Israel resolutions at the council.

This will mean that any council resolution not approved by Israel will be regarded as one-sided, obliging the US to reject it.

In effect, the bill grants Israel a new vicarious authority at council meetings.

The foreign lobby-sponsored act is making a farce of the veto power, as the legislative and executive branches of the world’s foremost superpower blatantly barter its authority at the council in exchange for pro-Israeli money and votes.

Ron Paul: US obsessed with ‘act of war’ on Iran

Texas Congressman Ron Paul says the US is “obsessed with” keeping Iran under illegal sanctions, while pushing for furthering the embargoes in, what he calls, an “act of war” against the Islamic Republic.

Addressing Congress on Wednesday, Paul accused Washington of “marching into a determination to have another war.” 

“When you put on sanctions on a country, it’s an act of war and that’s what this is all about,” he said. 

“I think this bill would be better named Obsession with Iran Act 2012,” Paul said, referring to a bill, which has been approved by the House of Representatives and the Senate, targeting Iran’s energy sector. 

In a statement, released by the White House, US President Barack Obama has said the existing illegal sanctions on Iran’s oil industry has been expanded “by making sanctionable the purchase or acquisition of Iranian petrochemical products.”

He said that the US sanctions will apply to any financial institution that allows Iran to access the international financial system. 

However, Paul said, “What we continue to be doing is obsess with Iran and the idea that Iran is a threat to our national security.” 

He asserted, “The IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) and our CIA said they are not on the verge of a nuclear weapon. It is so similar to what we went through in the early part of this last decade, when we were beating the war drums to go to war against Iraq. And it was all a façade. There was no danger from Iraq.” 

The new embargoes build on Iranian crude sanctions, signed into law in December and approved in March, that penalize other countries for buying or selling Iran’s oil.

The sanctions took effect on June 28. 

The US sanctions are meant to pile up pressure on Iran over its nuclear energy program, which Washington, Tel Aviv, and some of their allies claim may include a military aspect. 

Iran refutes the allegation and holds that, as a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and a member of the IAEA, it is entitled to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes.
